Uzbekistan Updates On Gold Export Volume In 1H2024


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 25. Uzbekistan exported Gold worth $4.1 billion from January through June 2024, Trend reports.

According to the data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, this figure has decreased by 4.6 percent compared to the same period last year ($4.3 billion in January–June 2023).

Meanwhile, the total volume of Uzbekistan's goods and services exports amounted to $12.9 billion from January through June 2024, which shows a 4.8 percent growth over the year ($12.3 billion in January–June 2023).

The gold holds the country's majority of reserves, totaling $27.3 billion in June 2024. Gold reserves increased by 1.8 percent compared to the previous month ($26.8 billion in May 2024).

Furthermore, the country exported gold worth $4.1 billion from January through May 2024. This indicator shows a 4.6 percent decline year-on-year ($4.3 billion in January–May 2023).
