Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia To Develop Energy Projects For Signing
The agreement was reached during the Kyrgyzstan-Saudi Arabia Business Forum held in Bishkek.
Speaking at the event, Kyrgyzstan's Deputy Minister of Energy Kursantbek Omurbekov emphasized that the goal of the meeting was to introduce Saudi investors to the wide range of investment opportunities in various sectors of Kyrgyzstan's economy.
“We are particularly interested in developing projects in the fields of energy, especially hydro energy. Kyrgyzstan has significant resources and potential for the successful implementation of investment projects in these areas. I am confident that today's meetings and discussions will lead to new projects,” he said.
The primary goal of the business forum was to engage with representatives of the Saudi Arabian government, the Saudi Ministry of Investment, and private businesspersons to strengthen cooperation for joint projects in the energy sector.
