Iraq PM, Kuwait Interior Min. Urge Continued Dialogue, Meetings


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, July 22 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Al-Sudani and Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Interior Minister sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah Monday met on ways of promoting bilateral ties and broadening cooperation in various domains.
During the meeting, both sides also looked into fruitful economic partnerships that could contribute to serving mutual interests and strengthening regional security and stability, the Iraqi Prime Minister's media Office said in a press release.
They also underlined that it is essential to keep holding Iraqi-Kuwaiti committee dialogue and meetings that look into an array of joint issues and dossiers, it said.
Furthermore, both sides considered Kuwait's participation in the 2nd Baghdad International Drug Control Conference, held in the Iraqi capital on Monday. (pick up previous)
