Palestinian Prime Minister Visits Jordanian Field Hospital In Nablus


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa on Saturday visited the Jordanian field hospital Nablus 3, where he, along with his accompanying delegation, was received by Jordanian Ambassador to Palestine Issam Budour, and the commander and the director of the hospital.

The visiting delegation listened to a briefing by the hospital commander on the operations of the clinics, the medical specialities offered by the hospital, and the nature of the medical, therapeutic and humanitarian services provided to various segments of society under the current circumstances, according to a statement by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.

The Palestinian prime minister and the delegates toured the various departments and facilities of the hospital, expressing admiration for the significant role and noble mission performed by the hospital staff in providing various forms of humanitarian support.

The delegation conveyed the greetings of the Palestinian president to all the staff of the Jordanian field hospital, commending the humanitarian and medical efforts provided by Jordan in supporting the Palestinian people in the occupied territories.

Budour stressed Jordan's ongoing commitment to implementing the Royal Directives to support the Palestinian people, help them remain steadfast in their land and assist them in overcoming difficult living conditions.

The commander of the hospital said that the hospital provides medical and therapeutic services to the people of Nablus, with over 12,000 patients having visited the hospital since its inception. A total of 183 surgical operations, ranging from minor to major, have been performed at the hospital.
