Azerbaijan Counts Voters For Upcoming Snap Parliamentary Election

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 10. During the voter list clarification process, it was established that as of June 28, 2024, Azerbaijan has 6,334,444 eligible voters, Assistant to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department for Territorial and Organizational Issues of the Administration of the President Zeynal Naghdaliyev said, Trend reports.

The official disclosed the information during a meeting with district election commission chairmen at the Central Election Commission.

On June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.
