Russians Attack Nikopol District With Drones And Artillery, Casualties Reported

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In the evening and the morning, Russian troops attacked the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region with kamikaze drones and heavy artillery.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported this on Telegram , Ukrinform reports.

"In the evening, the aggressor continued to shell the Nikopol district. They [Russians] were targeting the area from the very morning. They attacked with kamikaze drones and heavy artillery. Nikopol, Pokrov and Myrove communities were under attack. A 79-year-old woman was injured. She will be treated on an outpatient basis," the post reads.

It is noted that the enemy attack damaged infrastructure, a five-story building, a private house, and two cars.

He added that at night, the defenders of the sky destroyed two enemy missiles in the region.

As reported, four people were injured on the evening of July 8 in Nikopol due to enemy shelling, including a ten-year-old boy.
