Brake Failure Causes Fatal School Trip Accident In Abbottabad

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) At the Bagnotar Batangi turn in Abbottabad, a coaster carrying students and teachers from Rehana Umar Islamic Public School in Haripur overturned due to brake failure on its return trip.

The coaster was carrying 42 female students and 8 teachers. Following the accident, 12 people were brought to the emergency room of a local hospital. Unfortunately, one of the injured succumbed to their injuries, and four others are in critical condition.

The injured include Zahid, Imran, Mahnoor, Riaz, Noor Fatima, Fiza Sharaft, Anabiya Bibi, Ayesha, Shanza, Manahil Aziz, and Khizar Waris. The deceased has been identified as Mazhar Iqbal.

The hospital administration has instructed that all necessary medical facilities and special care be provided to those injured in the accident.
