First Border Pillar Installed On Border Between Azerbaijan, Armenia (PHOTO)

On April 23, 2024,as part of the process of clarification of coordinates based ongeodetic measurements on the ground on the border between theRepublic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, the firstborder marker was installed. The work of the expert groups of thetwo countries is ongoing, Trend reports.

As reported, in accordance with the agreements reached on theoutcomes of the 8th meeting of the State Commission on theDelimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijanand the Republic of Armenia, and the Commission on the Matters ofDelimitation of the State Border and Border Security between theRepublic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, the expertgroups of the countries started the clarification of coordinatesbased on geodetic measurements on the ground on the border betweenthe Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia on April 23,2024.
