Iran stresses need of resolving trade-related issues to expand investments
(MENAFN) The Iranian Minister of Industry, Mining, and Trade and Syria's Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade have stressed the need of resolving trade-related issues and improving communication in order to expand investments and enhance economic cooperation between the two nations.
In a conversation on Tuesday, Abbas Ali-Abadi as well as Mohammad Samer al-Khalil addressed a variety of subjects, including hurdles to the growth of commercial links among both nations, and stressed their administrations' desire to tackle such concerns, according to IRIB.
Ali-Abadi stated that 12 years of collaboration with Syria has enhanced Iran's ties with the nation: "The implementation of large electricity projects in Syria is a good indication that the two countries can cooperate well in various industrial and commercial fields."
“Political relations between Iran and Syria have been at the highest level since many years ago and I am sure that the Syrian Economy Minister can play a significant role in improving communication and developing the relations between the two countries more than in the past,” the Iranian spokesperson claimed.
