Somali National Army Kills 25 Al-Shabab Militants

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Aug 9 (KUNA) -- Somali National Army's Commandos on Wednesday killed 25 Al-Shabab militants including a prominent Al-Qaeda leader after conducting a special operation in Hiiraan region.
Somali National News Agency (SONNA) quoted security personnel as saying the operation was carried out in Mukeyle area west of Bula Burte district and targeted a warehouse used to store weapons and military equipment.
The Somali National Army is continuing its security operations against Al-Shabab militants who are in hiding in some regions in mid and south of Somalia.
