(MENAFN) According to the general director of New Towns Development Company, 200,000 National housing Movement apartments are being built in new towns around the nation.

Alireza Jafari also said that the first National Housing Movement units will be opened in new locations throughout government Week (beginning August 24).

Mehrdad Bazrpash, Minister of Transport and Urban Development, declared in June that 1.25 million units of the National Housing Movement plan are under creation in the nation.

The National Housing Movement's building of 209,212 residential units started in February 2022.
