Arab League Warns Against Israel's Plan To Build Settlements In West Bank

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, June 13 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmad Aboul-Gheit on Tuesday warned against Israel's plan to build thousands of settlements in the West Bank.
Aboul-Gheit pointed out in a statement that usurping land on which the Palestinian state should be based in the future only undermines the two-state solution and demanded the US take a firm stance against such plans.
The statement also indicated that there is information circulating in media platforms saying the right-wing Israeli government is seeking US approval to move forward with the plan. (end)
