Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb discussed with the Omani Minister of Heritage and Tourism, Salem bin Mohammed Al-Mahrouqi, the encouragement of all sectors, including tourism, during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
Several joint tourism initiatives and programmes that fall under the purview of the Gulf Tourism Strategy 2023–2030, which was approved by the leaders of the GCC countries last December under the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, were launched during the visit with the goal of luring both domestic and foreign visitors to the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
At the end of the visit, the Minister of Tourism expressed his thanks and appreciation to his Omani counterpart for the generous hospitality and warm reception, inviting him to visit Saudi Arabia.
