(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine's Air Force has launched 10 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel. This is stated in the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00 on June 6 published on facebook .
"During the day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has launched 10 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel," the report reads.
In addition, missile and artillery units have struck nine enemy command posts, four areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, three ammunition depots, an anti-aircraft missile system, 14 artillery units on firing positions, and 16 other important enemy targets.
Instead, the enemy launched 35 missiles strikes during the day, using Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles. All missiles were destroyed by the air defense forces and means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian troops have also launched 30 airstrikes and 43 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated settlements. Unfortunately, civilians were killed and injured, apartment blocks and private houses were damaged.
In addition, last night, Russian terrorists committed another war crime. In order to prevent the advance of Ukrainian troops, they blew up the internal structures of the Kakhovka HPP. As a result of the terrorist attack, about 80 settlements are in the zone of flooding.
"The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the day, 28 combat engagements have taken place," the General Staff informs.
In Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.
In Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna areas, the aggressor continues to maintain its military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. During the day, the enemy launched airstrikes near Ohirtseve in Kharkiv region. Mortars and artillery were fired at Kamyanka, Karpovychi, Tymonovychi, Medvedivka, Halahanivka in Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Shalyhine, Volfyne, Popivka, Basivka, Zapsillia, Myropillia, Myropilske, Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy region; Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Baranivka, Veterynarne, Vysoka Yaruha, Strilecha, Hatyshche, Synelnykove, Tsehelne, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Zybine, Karayichne, Zarichne, Pechenihy, Budarky, Vilkhuvatka, Chuhunivka, Milove, Velykyi Burluk, Odradne, Fyholivka in Kharkiv region.
In Kupyansk direction, Novomlynsk, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Lyman Pershyi, Kyslivka, Tabayivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske in Luhansk region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In Lyman direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Kreminna, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Berestove in Donetsk region. Airstrikes were launched near Spirne, Vesele, Hryhorivka, Ivanivka in Donetsk region. Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Verkhniokamyanske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region were hit with artillery.
In Bakhmut direction, the enemy went on the offensive in the direction of Klishchiyivka, had no success. The enemy also launched airstrike near Bila Hora in Donetsk region. The areas of Vasiukivka, Malynivka, Tykhonivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Bila Hora, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Ozarianivka, Toretsk, and Pivnichne in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.
In Avdiyivka direction, the Russians did not carry out offensive actions. Airstrikes were carried near Avdiyivka. Artillery was fired on the areas of Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, Lastochkyne, Vodiane, Pervomayske, Karlivka, Nevelske settlements in Donetsk region.
In Maryinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled all 12 enemy attacks in the area of Maryinka. At the same time, the enemy launched airstrikes within this settlement. Hostre, Maksymilyanivka, Heorhiyivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region were hit with artillery.
In Shakhtarske direction, the enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Zolota Nyva, and Velyka Novosilka settlements. Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Novoukrayinka, and Zolota Nyva in Donetsk region were hit.
In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the aggressor continues to hold the defense. The invaders launched an airstrike on Olhivske, Zaporizhzhia region. Vremivka, Novopil in Donetsk region; Temyrivka, Olhivske, Poltavka, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Bilohirya, Stepove, Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhia region; Odradokamyanka and Kherson in Kherson region came under artillery fire.
The General Staff notes that Russian troops continue to suffer losses on the battlefield. "The enemy lacks medical personnel in all directions due to the large number of wounded. Therefore, the enemy began to attract students from medical universities of the Russian Federation to work in front-line military medical institutions of various types," the report reads.
At the same time, the Russian aggressors continue to use the infrastructure of temporarily captured settlements to provide medical care to their wounded soldiers. Recently, the invaders set up a field hospital in the territory of a school in the village of Oleksiyivka, Kherson region. About 25 military medical personnel are stationed there to treat invaders with injuries of various degrees of severity.
