Dubai rebuilds mega-project after being abandoned

(MENAFN) Dubai’s leader has permitted a new improvement plan for the biggest of the town`s famous palm-shaped non-natural islands, the Palm Jebel Ali venture, which was postponed as an outcome of the 2008 economic disaster.

Based on media statements, a portion of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, Palm Jebel Ali is going to have more than 80 hotels and resorts, providing nearly 35,000 families with extravagant beachside houses. It is assessed to give extra 110 kilometers (68.35 miles) to the emirate’s coastline.

“Palm Jebel Ali will further strengthen our urban infrastructure and consolidate the city’s emergence as one of the world’s leading metropolises. This new ground breaking project reflects our strategic development plan centered on raising the quality of life and happiness of residents,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said on Wednesday.

The determined venture’s renewal comes after a regain in the real estate industry of Dubai, the United Arab Emirates profitable capital. Request in the seaside emirate has been reaching peak highs recently because of its high flow of tourists and foreign residents, which has helped real estate rates to raise.
