Amman, June 5 (Petra)--Jerusalem Center for Political Studies, in cooperation with Konrad Adenauer Foundation's Jordan Office, on Monday concluded a training course on foundational concepts in civic culture, aimed at empowering Jordanian youth and building capacities of party and national public institutions.
In a statement, the center said the six-day event featured 3 workshops, and targeted 50 youth from the age group (18-35) years from 17 Jordanian parties.
The center said participants grasped the 10 key criteria, which would help their political parties revamp their internal regulations and systems, in line with the best international practices in this regard.
Closing the workshop, director of Konrad Adenauer Foundation's Jordan Office, Edmund Ratka, moderated a dialogue with participants, highlighting some aspects of German partisan and parliamentary experience.
This workshop , which is the second activity within initiatives of Jordanian Academy for Political Education, trained 100 youth party members last year, and 25 beneficiaries were given an advanced training course on the strategic party-based planning skills.
