Amman, May 26 (Petra) -- Jordan's Foreign Ministry Friday reported that the residence of the Jordanian ambassador in Khartoum, Sudan, was attacked and vandalised, adding that the ambassador and embassy staff were in Port Sudan at the time of the attack.
The Ministry condemned "all forms of violence and vandalism, especially those that violate the sanctity of diplomatic buildings," noting the need to respect the rules of international law and relevant international agreements, especially the Vienna Convention.
