Kerman province ships non-oil goods worth USD490 million in one year


(MENAFN) A provincial representative asserted that non-oil goods valued at USD490 million were shipped from Kerman province in the previous Iranian calendar year 1401 (ended on March 20).
Mehdi Hosseini-Nejad, the chief of the province’s Industry, Mining, and Trade Department, stated that the yearly shipment from the province decreased 49 percent in worth.

He mentioned pistachio and copper as the main shipped outputs and claimed that pistachios as well as copper cathodes contributed in 64 percent of the province's shipments in the last year.

The representative also declared that commodities valued at USD2.2 billion were shipped into the province in the last year, with a 107 percent rise. He mentioned auto parts as the main shipped in pieces.

The Trade Development Committee of the Iranian House of Industry Mining, and Trade representative asserted that the worth of Iran’s non-oil shipments increased 10 percent in the previous year.

Ruhollah Latifi stated that 122.056 million tons of non-oil commodities valued at USD53.166 billion were shipped in the last year.
