Qatar Takes Part In 19Th World Meteorological Congress

Geneva: The State of Qatar, represented by the Civil Aviation Authority, took part in the 19th World Meteorological congress at the headquarters of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in Geneva, Switzerland.

The delegation of the Civil Aviation Authority was headed by Mohammed Faleh Al Hajri, who is in charge of managing the Civil Aviation Authority, in the presence of the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Office in Geneva H E Dr. Hind Al Muftah.

The congress discussed an array of topics related to weather and climate, and the strategic plan to enhance the WMO's vision for a world where all nations are more resilient to the socioeconomic consequences of extreme weather, climate, water and other environmental events.
