(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Airways flight QR960 from Doha to Denpasar diverted to Bangkok following an encounter with clear air turbulence, which resulted in a few moderate and minor injuries on board, the airline said Wednesday.
Upon landing safely in Bangkok, the aircraft was met by medical teams to provide assistance to affected individuals, a release posted on Twitter added.
Qatar Airways is providing all passengers with meals and overnight accommodation in Bangkok and will continue the flight to Denpasar Thursday, May 11.
The airline said it regrets any inconvenience this has caused to the passengers. The safety and security of the passengers and crew remains the top priority, it added.
