ACI, Danish Industries Federation Inaugurate E-Commerce Lab

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - The Amman Chamber of industry (ACI), in collaboration with the Danish Industries Federation, on Saturday inaugurated a lab dedicated to e-commerce Promotion and sales readiness.
President of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry Fathi Jaghbir said that that the lab is an
“integral part of the Amman Chamber of Industry's efforts” to strengthen the presence of Jordanian products in the local market and boost their exports.
The lab aims to enhance industrial companies' e-commerce capabilities by providing them with essential promotional materials such as images, engaging videos and compelling designs, he said.
The lab also offers specialised training programmes to empower and equip the workforce with skills to facilitate connections with the Kingdom's e-commerce service providers.
Highlighting the chamber's commitment to relieving factories from additional financial burdens, Jaghbir noted that factories will not incur extra costs for utilising the lab's services. To ensure this, the chamber has signed a cooperation agreement with the Crown Prince Foundation, which will provide volunteering opportunities for Jordanian youth, offering them practical work experience to apply their knowledge effectively and enhance their employability.
Around 200 professionals in design, photography, and content writing are voluntarily contributing to the project. The lab's activities will be overseen by specialised Jordanian startups to ensure the consistency and high quality of its outputs, Jaghbir mentioned.
The initiative's main objectives are to expand networking opportunities between Jordanian manufacturers and potential buyers in global markets, enhance the e-commerce readiness of factories, increase the number of Jordanian factories in major global virtual markets and foster innovation and design in packaging solutions, Petra added.
