Experiences Booking Startup To Support Entrepreneurs, Tourists

Venly, a mobile application that aims to enable seamless booking experiences for businesses, tourism, and other events offered in Qatar is set to launch in early May this year.

“We want to make this application as seamless as possible for all our customers,” Ammar Mashhadi, Co-Founder, of Venly, told The Peninsula in an interview adding that the businesses have a fully automated system and they will serve individuals according to their needs by providing a fully-fledged CMS system that lets them manage their venues at their own pace and time.

The Application covers a wide range of activities Qatar has to offer including sports, wellness facilities, resorts, events, places, and other adventures.

Speaking to The Peninsula on the innovative idea of the startup firm, Jassim Al Ejji, Co-Founder of Venly said:“We wanted to solve how difficult it is for residents in Doha and tourists to book an experience. Finding and booking the right place is a long process and we are here to make it easier not only to find businesses that you can book but also to book, and pay online and make it a seamless experience.”

Located in Lusail City, the company currently has 18 staff working as developers and in the marketing team.

Al Ejji highlighted that the idea behind the startup is not merely providing a booking management system but also a staff management system with statistics as it provides a hub for businesses to work. The entrepreneurs will be able to use the platform to manage every aspect of bookable service.

Self-invested by young Qatari entrepreneurs and co-founders, the tourism-favored platform is a one-stop-shop to access some of the best venues in the country with additional services and offers catering to people's requirements.

Venly targets tourists and business-oriented individuals outside Qatar as Al Ejji continued by saying that“The very beginning of the idea is not only to present here in the local market in Qatar but to expand it by starting with the GCC region and beyond.”

“We focus and try to build a personal connection and relationship with every business that has partnered with us and it goes beyond giving them an App that they can use and get analytics on. We help them grow and develop their business beyond just using our App to manage it. We help them find new strategies and ways to grow, market, and attract their businesses and that is what we will constantly do and focus on,” he added.
