Arab League Announces 32Nd Ordinary Arab Summit To Take Place In Saudi Next May

Cairo: The Arab League announced on Sunday that the 32nd Ordinary Arab Summit will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on May 19.

Assistant Secretary-General at the Arab League Ambassador Hossam Zaki said in a statement that setting the date for the Arab summit followed consultations carried out by the Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, with the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which welcomed holding the summit on the aforementioned date.

Zaki added that several preparatory meetings will be held at the level of senior officials and ministers prior to the summit.

The year 2023 is also expected to witness the convening of an Arab development summit in Mauritania, and the Arab-African summit in Saudi Arabia.
