4.4-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Turkiye's Kahramanmaras

Ankara: A 4.4-magnitude earthquake shook on Friday Kahramanmaras, southern Turkiye.

In a statement, the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) stated that the earthquake epicenter was in the Nur Haq district of Kahramanmaras, at a depth of 15.5 km.

There were no reports of damage from this new earthquake.

On February 6, Kahramanmaras was the epicenter of two earthquakes measuring 7.7 and 7.6 that struck southern Turkiye, causing heavy human and material losses.
