(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The first edition of the Qatar Universities Handball League 2023 for men organised by the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation (QCSF) from 12th to 22nd March was concluded at the Qatar University's new sport Arena on Wednesday.
In the event's final day, Police Institute team claimed the first place and gold medals, University of Doha for Science and Technology won the runner-up place and sliver medals as the third place and bronze medals went to Qatar University.
At the medal ceremony, the QCSF President, HE Dr Ibrahim bin Saleh al-Naimi crowned the top three winners.
The closing scene of Universities Handball League 2023 was also attended by senior officials and board members of the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation (QCSF), along with representatives of Universities, participating teams and students.
