KSA's air navigation services launches Nera to boost efficiency in aviation sector


(MENAFN) In a bid to boost the efficiency of the Kingdom's aviation sector, Saudi Arabia's Air Navigation Services Co. has launched a new firm called Nera. Specializing in implementing and managing projects in the field of civil aviation and air navigation in Saudi Arabia, Nera aims to provide innovative and technological solutions to improve efficiency while adhering to international safety standards.

The company will offer various services such as acquiring, defining, and outlining technical specifications and requirements for automation and CNS systems, as well as monitoring the entire installation process. Nera's official Twitter account claims that the company will lead the future of aviation in the Middle East and around the world.

The launch of Nera comes on the heels of a USD37 billion deal between Saudi Arabia and United States firm Boeing, which will see Boeing manufacture up to 121 aircraft to help launch the Kingdom's new airline. With the establishment of Nera and the recent Boeing deal, Saudi Arabia is taking significant steps towards strengthening its position in the aviation industry and improving the country's overall economic growth.
