(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Over the past day, March 17, Russian troops struck Kherson region 50 times, injuring three people. “Over the past day, the enemy launched 50 strikes on Kherson region, firing 237 shells from heavy artillery and Grad MLRS,” Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, posted on telegram .
The invaders hit Kherson city three times. 'Seven shells slammed into residential neighborhoods, private houses and apartment blocks. Unfortunately, three people were injured,' Prokudin noted.
He also added that another 56 people had been evacuated from the areas of the region liberated from the Russians.

Ten UAVs were destroyed by the Ukrainian air defense units, another one hit an industrial infrastructure object. No civilian casualties were reported.
