Qatar, Georgia Sign Agreement To Enhance Cooperation

H E Otar Shamugia signed a a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday to enhance further cooperation.

The agreement came on the sidelines of the 10th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition, which is organised by the Ministry of Municipality from March 15 to 19, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

The MoU aims to build bridges of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of water environment, air quality, wildlife and biodiversity, inspection of industries and pollution control, and climate change.

It also aims to enhance cooperation and capabilities in the field of environmental protection for the benefit and benefit of the two countries, support and implement programs and projects in the environmental field, support studies in the environmental field, and enhance cooperation in the field of combating climate change.

Under the agreement cooperation between the two countries takes place in the fields of programs, projects and studies of the water environment, monitoring and control of air quality, conservation of wildlife and biodiversity, training programs and exchange of experiences in the fields of industrial inspection, pollution control and climate change.

The ceremony was attended by a number of officials from both sides. The session also included a video presentation on the efforts of Qatar and Georgia to preserve the environment and work to achieve sustainable development in both countries.
