(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On March 16, 2023, Russian troops struck the Donetsk region's Kostiantynivka with the Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). Six people were reported injured, including a foreign volunteer. The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on facebook , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Today Russians have twice struck the city with the Uragan cluster munitions. Six civilians were injured, including a foreign volunteer. At least 19 houses were damaged to a various extent, as well as a school and an enterprise,” Kyrylenko wrote.
Meanwhile, according to the ukrainian prosecutor general's office , on March 16, 2023, Russian invaders shelled the Donetsk region's Kostiantynivka, Pivnichne and Pivdenne with the Uragan MLRS and artillery. A woman, 50, was killed in Pivdenne; and a man, 40, was injured in Pivnichne.
In Kostiantynivka, a railway station, market and detached houses were hit. A citizen of Poland was listed among those injured. The fragments of Russian projectiles caused damage to over 30 houses, gas pipelines, cars and household buildings.
