(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Hotelier's Premier League (HPL) is proud to announce the launch of its second season, which will take place at the CricBd Lakepori Cricket Arena, Purbachol City, Sector 28 from March 12 till March 16, 2023.
HPL was initiated for the first time in 2019 to bring hospitality professionals together through the spirit of sports. The aim of this tournament is to create a festive atmosphere by organizing a fun-filled cricket tournament where 16 hotels of the town fight on the ground for the crown.
On 27th Feb 2023, HPL unveiled its trophy at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan in the city. The 16 teams participating in the tournament were distributed in four groups through a raffle during this event. The tournament promises to be an exciting and competitive event for all participants and spectators alike.
Mr. Al Amin, Hotel Manager, Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan hotel, is the Chief Convenor of HPL, while Mr. Mohammad Tanvir Hassan, Head of Sales and Marketing, The Palace Luxury Resort, is the Chief Operating Officer of HPL. The tournament has also attracted the attention of some of the most esteemed members of the hospitality industry in the region, including Mr. Shahid Hamid, Executive Director, Dhaka Regency Hotel and Mr. Saeed Ahmed, Managing Director, Quality Hospitality Limited (Owning company of Q Hotel & Suite).
The HPL tournament provides a unique opportunity for hotels to come together and showcase their sporting prowess while strengthening the bonds of camaraderie and collaboration within the industry.
