Qatar Charity Continues To Distribute Aid In Turkey And Syria


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Within the framework of its continuous efforts to provide relief to those affected by the earthquake disaster in Turkey and Syria, Qatar Charity continues to provide assistance in the various affected areas, providing urgent humanitarian needs to those affected, which include food and non-food items.
Qatar Charity's field teams are continuing to distribute about 45,000 hot meals to the affected people inside Syria and Turkey, in addition to distributing 6,500 parcels containing ready-to-eat foodstuffs in Azaz and Afrin in northern Syria.
Through the air bridge operated by the State of Qatar, Qatar Charity shipped 13 tons of food and nearly 4,000 blankets, in addition to the movement of a relief convoy from Doha towards the affected areas, consisting of 4 trucks containing medical supplies, first aid and clothes.
