TEDPIX experiences decreases of 2,319 points at Monday’s session


(MENAFN) TEDPIX, the benchmark index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), saw a loss of 2,319 points to reach an amount of 1.537 million on Monday.

According to reports, more than 8.151 billion securities valued at 44.397 trillion rials (around USD111 million) were exchanged at the TSE.

The most significant of the four Iranian stock exchanges is TSE. Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), and Iran's over-the-counter (OTC) market, known as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB)., are the other three.

Iranian government has collected 150 trillion rials (around USD375 million) to the nation’s Capital Market Stabilization and Development Fund (CMSDF) in the budget bill for the upcoming Iranian calendar year 1402 (starts on March 21) to back small shareholders, as reported by Tasnim news agency on January 1.

International benchmark Brent crude sold at USD82.14 a barrel standing at 09.48 AM regional time (0648 GMT), hiking 1.4 percent from the ending price of USD80.99 per barrel in the prior exchange day.
