Amman, Feb. 8 (Petra) -- Recent rainfall channeled about 15 million cubic meters (mcm) in 24 hours into the Kingdom's dams, raising their total amount to 105 mcm (38 percent) of the total capacity of 280.760 mcm.
A statement by the Ministry of Water and Irrigation on Wednesday said that King Talal Dam received the highest quantity of water with 8.6 mcm, followed by Al Waleh Dam with 3 mcm. The rest of the rainfall was distributed to various dams except for Al-Tannour and Al-Karak dams.
