Global stock Markets experience declines following US jobs report

(MENAFN) Worldwide shares and Treasury rates saw a decrease on Friday following a surprising robust US employments report signaled that the Federal Reserve could need to sustain interest rates higher to tame inflation, as reported by a news agency.

This added an additional obstacle in the path of a weeks-long markets performance that fell in US following exchange hours on Thursday due to low gains from Google, Apple, in addition to Amazon.

S&P 500 futures fell 1.1 percent, contracts on the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 lost 1.8 percent.

The MSCI index of worldwide stocks dropped 0.3 percent, having reached its peakiest rate since August on Thursday in a regain buoyed by positivity that central banks are near to the end of their hawkish rate rising cycles.

The keenly-observed US nonfarm payrolls report indicated US employers gained 517,000 additional staff in January, massively exceeding prospects of economists surveyed by a news agency for a 185,000 earn.
