Doha: Birla Public School is truly proud of its young achievers who have worked hard for their success.
Monisha Doddi joined Taekwondo in February 2022. The motto of learning martial arts is to improve a child's confidence levels, self-defence, control of mental health, good exercise for the body, and improves the child's activeness in social skills. After attending regular classes and practicing continuously, she passed the belt tests yellow, orange, and green and achieved blue belt in September 2022. All these tests were conducted in the Empower Sports Center.
A few students participated in the 'Busy Bees 2022-23' conducted by the Loyola International School Doha, Qatar on Oct 29, 2022. Many Indian Schools from Qatar participated in the competitions.
In category 1, KG1 students were made to write numbers 1-100 and count objects for numbers 1-25. In category 2, KG2 the students were made to learn 25 three letter words to memorise and spell.
Jonathan Victor D'Souza and Swastik Shankarasa were the winners. The Birlites came out with flying colours, being winners in both categories.
Indeed, it's a proud moment for the young achievers.
