Senate President Meets S.Korean, Turkish Envoys

Amman, Feb. 1 (Petra) -- President of the Senate Faisal Fayez Wednesday met separately with South Korea's Ambassador Kim Dong-gi and Turkey's Ambassador Erdem Ozan to discuss prospects of cooperation in various fields and means of developing and strengthening ties.
Fayez stressed, during the two meetings, Jordan's ongoing commitment to strengthening relations with both Turkey and South Korea and maintaining coordination and consultation on various issues of common interest, underlining the importance of strengthening economic cooperation and activating bilateral agreements.
He also briefed the ambassadors on regional issues and the Kingdom's firm positions, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, which urge achieving regional security and stability.
For his part, Ozan lauded His Majesty's role and efforts to resolve regional issues, underscoring his country's commitment to boosting ties in various fields, especially in the economic and investment areas.
The Korean envoy also stressed his country's commitment to boosting relations and upping Korean investments in different sectors in the Kingdom.
