China foreign minister holds meeting with Saudi Arabia to reinforce relations


(MENAFN) China's new foreign minister Qin Gang seeks to establish sturdier relations with Saudi Arabia and prepare a China-Gulf free exchange zone "as soon as possible", as said by a ministry announcement issued late on Monday.

Qin, who was just lately labeled to the position, made the suggestion in a telephone discussion with his Saudi Arabian fellow, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, also mentioning that China highly grows Saudi Arabia's consistent company back on issues including China's core interests.
