(MENAFN) More than 10 men were injured in a shooting on Monday in Lakeland, Florida, which left two in a dangerous condition, US police have made a statement.
The attackers, who were in a dark blue Nissan sedan, were still at large at 7 PM local time, Lakeland Police chief Sam Taylor stated.
“The vehicle slowed, did not stop and the four windows went down," he also declared. "It appeared to be occupied by four shooters.
“They started firing from all four windows of the vehicle and shooting males on both sides.”
The car, which had temporary license plate, took off at a high speed. Police are currently “actively looking" for it, Mr Taylor added.
Eight of the victims have injuries that are not critical.
Three victims taken by emergency services were at the age 20-35. The others were transported in personal vehicles, Mr Taylor made a statement.
