Doha – Asdaf News:

After flying daily flights between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, flynas celebrated the inauguration of its office in Doha on January 30, 2023, becoming the first low-cost carrier to connect the two brotherly nations.

HH Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al-Saud, the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Qatar, as well as representatives from Qatar Tourism and the General Authority of Civil Aviation were present at flynas' news conference and dinner party in Doha.

In line with the goals of the Saudi civil aviation strategy, which calls for reaching 330 million passengers and expanding the number of international destinations connected with the Kingdom to more than 250 destinations by 2030, flynas is the first low-cost carrier to connect the Kingdom and Qatar with daily flights to Doha from Riyadh and Jeddah.

With the beginning of the FIFA World Cup 2022, which will be hosted by Qatar, flynas began flying up to six daily flights from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to Doha last November.

It is significant that flynas announced double annual growth in operation and performance in 2022, with increases in passengers by 91% to 8.7 million, flights by 45% to 66,000, and seat capacity by 46%, as well as the introduction of 16 destinations and 30 routes as fleet upscaled to 43 aircraft.

Numerous international honors, including the fifth consecutive Skytrax International Award as the Best Low-Cost Airline in the Middle East in 2022, recognized flynas' performance. Since its inception in 1999, it has been the highest honor conferred in the aviation industry globally. Additionally, flynas was listed as one of the top 10 global low-cost airlines by Skytrax.

Flynas, meanwhile, earned the World Travel Awards' Best Low-Cost Airline Award for the Middle East in 2022 for the eighth consecutive year.

According to an evaluation by the non-profit organization APEX, one of the major worldwide airline associations, which includes 600 airlines of various categories throughout the world, flynas came in the four-star category, which is the highest level for low-cost airlines in the world.

All flynas booking channels, including the flynas app, the phone center (920001234), and travel agencies, are available to passengers who are flying with them.
