Specialist Ghasempour unhappy with Hector Cuper’s reports

(MENAFN) Ebrahim Ghasempour, a former member of the Iran Football Federation's technical committee, is dissatisfied with the rumors that the federation has been associated with former Valencia coach Hector Cuper.

Fans of the Iran national football team have been wondering when a new head coach will be named so that Team Melli can actually start moving toward the upcoming competitions since Carlos Queiroz's contract as the 2022 World Cup head coach expired following the team's disappointing performance at the tournament.

The hiring procedure for a new coach is more critical now that the national team has had four coaches between 2019 and 2023, including Queiroz, Marc Wilmots, Dragan Skocic, and Queiroz once again.

Iranian football need to set its eyes on the World Cup 2026 and in this procedure, there is a massive amount to be won or lost in the upcoming four years because of the quality of the future manager.
