(MENAFN) In an action to transform Saudi Arabia’s mountainous Aseer area into a worldwide tourist location, the domestic authority is preparing to start an additional road venture that is going to rise the infrastructure in and across the area’s capital city Greater Abha.

The nation is developing its road connectivity as part of its plan to become a tourism and logistics center, along with the targets highlighted in Vision 2030.

The additional venture, being prepared by the Aseer Development Authority along with Saudi Arabia’s Public Transport Authority, is estimated to link Greater Abha with Abha, Khamis Mushait as well as Ahad Rafidah.

The declaration around the additional road venture was made throughout a gathering attended by the Chairman of the ASDA, Prince Turki bin Talal, at the headquarters of the authority.

The 321km venture, which is estimated to start next year, is going to have 13 roads, 196 stops, 55 buses, 150 bus drivers as well as 18 operational hours.
