The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on telegram , following the death of Dmytro Pavlychko, a Ukrainian poet and public figure, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Dmytro Pavlychko, a Ukrainian poet, public and political figure, Hero of Ukraine, has passed away. He will be remembered as one of authors of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine and a founder of the Ukrainian national movement. And, of course, as a famous poet. May his memory live forever,” Zelensky wrote.
A reminder that, on January 29, 2023, Dmytro Pavlychko, a famous Ukrainian poet, political and public figure, former member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, diplomat, Hero of Ukraine passed away, aged 93.
