(MENAFN) The worth of non-oil shipment from Bushehr province, in the southwest of Iran, surged by 50 percent in the opening nine months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21, 2022), in comparison with the same span of time in the last year, as declared by provincial official.
Ali Soleymani, the director-general of Customs Department of Bushehr (the capital city of the province), stated that 21.259 million tons of goods valued at USD10.852 billion were shipped from the district in the opening nine months of the current year, signifying eight percent surge in terms of mass on a yearly basis as well.
One of the main volumes of the coastal district of Bushehr on the edge of the Persian Gulf is maritime exchange and financial connection with different nations.
Bushehr district has the lengthiest sea border with the Persian Gulf, and according to this, many customs and port services are supplied for traders and merchants on the coasts of Bushehr region.
