Kermanshah district records 4 percent surge in shipments


(MENAFN) The worth of shipment from Kermanshah district, in the west of Iran, surged four percent in the initial nine of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21- December 21, 2022), in comparison with the same span of time in the last year, a representative with the customs department of the province declared.

Bakhtiar Rahmanipour asserted that 5.128 million tons of gods valued at USD2.023 billion were shipped from the district in the stated period, showing also seven percent increase in terms of mass.

He labeled rebar and ironware, tiles and ceramics, fruits and vegetables, constructional stones, dairy products, plastic outputs, as well as disposable containers as the main shipped equipment.

The representative additionally declared that 6,813 tons of output valued at USD49.054 million have been shipped to the province in the opening nine months of the current year, showing 8 percent and 62 percent fall in terms of worth and mass, individually.
