(MENAFN- Hip Hop-24) French police recently sent a summons to two veiled women for interrogation on charges of "violence", after months of policemen assaulting the two women.
The police had beaten the two women on April 14, 2022 in Asnière, and later accused them of "resisting, insulting and beating the policemen."
In an interview with Anadolu Agency, the two women said that the police summoned them to submit a statement at the Security Directorate next February, on charges of violence against the police and insulting them.
A video clip spread on social media on April 14, filmed by a woman from her car, showing the police beating the two women, punching one of them and knocking the second to the ground.
The video also shows that the police continued to beat the two women, despite the intervention of many passers-by, which at that time led to widespread controversy in the country and social networking sites.
