Woman Accused Of Murdering Saudi National In US Arrested: Embassy

Doha: The Saudi Embassy in the United States announced, in a press release, that the woman suspected of murdering Saudi student Al-Walid al-Gharbi in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has been arrested.

The embassy's statement revealed that al-Gharbi was killed by an American citizen who lived in one of the floors above his residence.

The woman, according to Al Arabiya news portal, was identified as Nicole Marie Rodgers, and was charged with“premeditated murder, theft, and several other charges.”

The embassy also indicated that all necessary procedures relevant to US authorities concerning the transfer of al-Gharbi's body back to the Kingdom have been completed.
