(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE Minister of Social Development and Family Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, met with a number of Their Excellencies Arab Ministers of Social Development Affairs, on the sidelines of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, which concluded in Doha on Thursday.
Her Excellency met with Minister of Human Resources and Social Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Eng. Ahmad bin Sulaiman AlRajhi, Minister of Social Affairs of the State of Libya Wafaa Abu Bakr Muhammad Al-Kilani, and Minister of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family in the Kingdom of Morocco Aawatif Hayar, Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women's Issues of Algeria Kawthar Kriko, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor of the Republic of Yemen Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs, Children and Family of the Republic of Mauritania Safiya bint Intah.
On the sidelines of the session, HE the Minister of Social Development and the Family met with Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Djibouti, Minister of Social Development of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Wafaa Saeed Yaqoub Bani Mustafa, and Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia Bihi Iman Egeh, Minister of Social Development of the State of Palestine Ahmed Majdalani, and Minister of Health, Solidarity and Social Protection of the Republic of the Comoros.
The meetings dealt with prospects for joint cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Arab countries in the field of social affairs, family and women, as well as the most important topics on the agenda of the session.
During the meetings, Their Excellencies the ministers praised the achievements made by the State of Qatar in the field of social development, expressing their great confidence in its success in achieving a quantum leap in joint Arab social action during its presidency of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs.
