Kuwaiti Retired Officers Association Visits Egyptian Veterans Society

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Jan 26 (KUNA) -- The Chairman and members of the Kuwaiti Retired Officers Board Directors visited the Association of Veterans and War Victims in Egypt, in response to an invitation from the Director of the Association, Major General Ashraf Ahmad Sharif.
The delegation was briefed on the aspects of care and services provided to the combatants and their families, the martyrs, and the injured in war operations.
In turn, the Chairman of the Retired Officers Association, Major General Faisal Al-Jazzaf, praised the services of the association in rehabilitation, encouragement, and recreational programs provided to the members and their families of workers and retirees.
He added that there are arrangements to sign a joint cooperation protocol to benefit from the experiences between the two societies.
Al-Jazzaf praised the warm reception and hospitality during the visit, expressing the depth of the Kuwaiti-Egyptian relations rooted since ancient times and their cooperation in various fields.
Kuwaiti ambassador to Egypt and the Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States Ghanim Saqer Al-Ghanim received in his office the delegation of the Board of Directors of the Retired Officers Association, in the presence of the military and the security attache.
He expressed his support for these initiatives, which would enhance cooperation with Egypt, and would reflect positively on retired officers and members of the two associations to achieve all goals and benefit from experiences and expertise. (end)
