Tesla sees peak profit, income October-December 2022


(MENAFN) US-based electric carmaker Tesla stated on Wednesday that it reached peak profit and income in the October-December period of last year.

Its overall incomes jumped to USD24.3 billion in the fourth quarter, increasing 37 percent from USD17.7 billion in the same time span of the last year.

Net profit attributable to joint shareholders climbed nearly 59 percent to around USD3.7 billion from USD2.3 billion throughout the timespan, as shown by its economic outcomes announcement.

For the entire year of 2022, overall revenues jumped to USD81.5 billion for a 51 percent earn from USD53.8 billion the last year, whereas net income climbed 128 percent to reach USD12.5 billion from USD5.5 billion in the year before (2021).

The firm stated that the October-December period of last year was "another record-braking quarter and 2022 was another record-breaking year. In the last quarter, we achieved the highest-ever quarterly revenue, operating income and net income in our history."
