Amman, Jan. 26 (Petra) -- Relatively cold weather conditions are forecast to prevail over the highlands on Thursday, while it will be pleasant in other regions, the Jordan meteorological department (JMD) said in its daily report.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Friday, becoming 5-6 degrees above the annual average, and bringing fair weather across the kingdom.
Similar weather will persist on Saturday, with clouds at medium and high altitudes and southwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 4C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 24C, sliding to 13C at night.
